I have a friend. This dude just got off of a DUI because he had one of the many doctors he is shopping for drugs from write a letter saying there was an error in his prescription. He goes from doctor to doctor and gets pain pills and pain shots and cough medicine and seizure meds and antidepressants - anything that will give him a buzz. He hit a guardrail on the freeway and didn't even know he did it. The car behind him on the freeway called it in and he was pulled over. It is unfair - he shouldn't be able to get off so easy. What should i do

i was in a car accident a few months ago and i have two herniated disks in the thoracic area and two in my lumbar.
i have constant pain down my left leg and arm, like someone is pressing on a pressure point, and i have constant pain when i walk or change positions. i have a doctor appointment in a month with a back surgeon but i cannot wait that long and there are no openings any sooner. i am going to physical therapy 3 times a week and it somewhat helps. what would you suggest?

How do you deal with blood? And sticking people with needles? I mean, I'm ok with a needle as long as it's not coming towards me. I'm not the touchy kind of person and don't feel comfortable around doctors. Does anybody else feel that way?

the most painful physical pain i have ever felt was when i went to the orthodontics like 2 years ago and they had to do something to my teeth but first they had to make my mouth numb so they took 3-4 needles with with this weird substance and they stuck them in my top and bottom gums and it hurt like a son of a b****! i almost felt like crying so whats the most physical pain you have ever felt?

I work for a home health agency.. As a cna. today a coworker called and told me she was in the office and over heard I am going to be fired on monday after they follow up on information they have on me.. Here is what happen.. Today I have a cleint that never gets to get out of the house.. So on my day off which was today.. I went to his house , I picked him and his grandson up and took them out to eat.. I paid for them along with my two children.. Just to get him out of the house, SO he can get a break from being in all the time.. This Pt is able to get out and go infact the MD office said it would be better if the pt did get out because he is becoming depressed. because he cann't drive any longer..
I don't think I did anything wrong that would go against the compay I didn 't except money from him or was there any talk of money. SHould I fight it or should I just let it go being I start school in the next couple of months..Just say the hell with it and stay home with my kids..

About 4 years ago I slipped down the stairs and landed with my feet at a 9 degree angle. Off and on for the past two years my ankles and calves have been hurting. Sharp shooting pain in ankle and calf. Does anybody know what I could have done to my ankles and calves. The doctor said I tore th tissues in both my ankles and that the inflammation was causing the pain but, shouldn't the tissues have heeled by now. I had xrays taken and no joint damage took place.

i am changing jobs because of an unexpected offer from a previous employer and need to pass a drug test by Monday.(4 days) Does anyone know of anything that I can do at home to pass it? Ok, tomorrow i am getting braces, but the only problem is i have a really sore canker sore at the back of my mouth and it hurts to swollow and open my mouth wide. I also have a canker sore in the front of my mouth and it is also very painful. I know i should try to cut down on citric acid and things like that, but i need help to reduce the pain in them. I have this stuff called orastat which numbs them, and i use it for the one in the front of my mouth. But its the one in back that really hurts. I cant touch it bacause its next to the uvula, but i am going to need my mouth wide open for a long time. WHat will help dull the pain. I already take pain killers because its just so sore. It feels like i have strep when its just a big sore. WHAT should i do
I cant re-scedule my oppointment because the only time they can get me in is August 24, and i have a big school thing going on and i cannot miss it. The only time after that to get an appointmen is in January. and i have spacers in still.

so i might have damaged cartillege in my knee, and it might be pretty bad. i got my MRI and they think it might be damaged cartillege, although i dont find out for sure until tomorrow. if it is, its bad. the doctors said that most people dont have bruising as bad as me. the bruise is very very big, about the size of like.. idk a bagel er something. but my knee is also very swollen, and if im up too much my foot gets swollen as well. i am in a big bulky knee immobilizer brace temporarily, and i am on crutches. if it is cartillege, what will they do? surgery? i also heard that if you either have a fracture in your thigh, a fracture in your knee, a dislocation in your knee, or surgery on your knee, you might have to go into a certin cast called a long leg cast. any ideas of whats going on? pictures?

I was skateboarding the whole day yesterday. When I got home my legs were pretty sore. Today they are even sorer. When i walk up and down the stairs it hurts my upper legs. I dont know what my upper legs are called but its the part closest to the abdomin (maybe called the thyes???). Anyways, even walking up and down the stairs causes my upper legs pretty bad soreness pain. Forget about running and jumping. When i try to jump, i jump about 1\4 of a foot in the air (thats bad). Please help im really worried this might be some kind of serious muscle condition. Thanks!!!
