My roommate is constantly feeling thirsty and (probably because of this) has to pee all of the time urgently. Any ideas what this might be related to?

I just told her that and she says she was tested for diabetes 2 weeks ago and it came up negative....we know she needs to go to a doctor, just curious what some of the causes could be.

It could be diabetes. Some of the symptoms are excessive thirst and frequent urination. Other symptoms include weight loss, fatigue, irritability, and excessive hunger. Maybe your roommate should see a doctor.

Research these, they're all correlated with "dry mouth" and might be hard to spot in your average check-up.

she may want to try reducing her salt intake. That may be causing it. Also, try drinking less to no pop. It carries a lot of sodium and caffeine which is a diarretic.
