well vicodin is very similar to percocet...but percocet is a little bit stronger then vicodin...i take percocet now 10mg 3x a day so i don't think that vicodin would do a lot for me however since i have taken the percoet for a long time my body has some what built up a tolerance to it...soo with that in mind the vicodin provided it's a strong enough dosage would probably get me a little more loopy then the percocet since my body isn't use to the vicodin...hope this is the answer you were looking for and good luck...

One person here is right. Usually people have a misconception about drugs and tend to stereo- type them like they would meth and cocaine and other substance drugs.

I have a bone disease, it's called osteo-arthritis in the severe degenerative stages. I've had surgery twelve times in four years. My bones fall apart faster then they can put them together. I have twelve cadaver bones in me, along with twelve pieces of my hip bones. And 32 screws in my spine alone.
I am codeine and morphine tolerant, I puke at the taste of it. I have pain 24-7 1 to 10 about an 8 or 9 all the time. My life has come to an end as I knew it.
Vicodin is my only hope, it blocks the messages the nerve endings send to the brain, yes it blocks the pain and gives me relief.
Only another person that has the pain I do will understand.

They have tried all other drugs but, there just to strong and I don't like them, I do get shots and Blocks, it's a never ending issue my wife puts up with.

Vicodin blocks the nerve endings and pain receptors in your body. It tricks your brain into thinking nothing hurts, and therefore you don't. The effectiveness of it depends on how tolerant your nerves are to outside influence. If you have strong-willed nerves, a higher dose of pain killers is necessary. In addition, your receptors build up a resistance over time, and therefore the dosage must increase over time of taking Vicodin.

Vicodin is a narcotic pain killer. It's used to treat moderate to severe pain, depending on the dosage. You can expect drowsiness, dry mouth, nausea, and constipation are the main side effects. It will help alleviate the pain you're feeling. Be sure not to drive while taking it.

They say it eases pain. I think it just makes you not care about pain. The pain is still there, it just doesnt really matter to you tho, if that makes sence.
