About 9 months or so ago, i started to have a recurring dream, whereas there is a large Tiger, that seems to be stalking me, i see it, in the street, and am terrified, i run home, and it is in my house, and i flee, petrified, knowing it is out to get me. One dream i had, it was sniffing round my little girl snarling when i arrived home, i awoke with fear. Last night, i had the dream, but this time it was a large Wolf, it chased me, i ran home, and it was in my house when i got there. I awoke with fear, as it pounced me, pinning me down, with its teeth round my throat. What the hell does this mean, why am i having these dreams, does it mean something?

I'm only 38 but my four year old elbowed me on the side of my eye and it turned into quite a shiner, moved down below my eye and is just fading away two weeks later. This past Monday night I got elbowed in the side playing basketball and it's turned into a huge bruise. Coincidence or shoud I be concerned? Thanks!

I had broken my ankle 5 years ago and since have been experiencing pain in my toe and ankle area.I went to my Dr. 2 days ago ,had a blood test, and was told yesterday I have gout.I do not have any visable signs of gout, just the Dr's word and a prescription of Indomethacin.I was also refered to a "foot doctor" because 1 of my ten screws may be working itself out of the bone slowly. My ankle hurts any time I try to flex to either side and sometimes when I put weight on it.My medicines warnings (Indomethacin) says not to drive or operate heavy machinery until I see how it effects me.It takes away the pain, but also causes drownsiness, dizziness, and for me to be lightheaded.

What are the very best home remedies for gout? I have been out of work for 3 days because of this but will be going back on Monday.Help!

when you "pull" a tendon or tear it, is it something that repairs itself over time or do i need to go to someone? It only hurts in a specific place and only when i touch it or press down on it. I can put some weight on it but not much.

Hi,

Asked this before, but I think I worded it wrong, so I'll try again. My doctor's receptionist does a lot of "extras" in the office. She is not a nurse, nor has she had any medical schooling at all (according to her). She gives flu shots, freezes and removes moles and skin tags, hands out prescription samples (not under doc's recommendations)...These are things I've seen firsthand.
I'm a little worried and am thinking of switching doctors because I'd rather have a qualified nurse or at least someone who has taken a course or two.
Is a receptionist allowed to do these things? I never thought they were but.....who knows.
Thanks for answering, I appreciate it.

No joke or rude answers please...thanks so much.

Ok so here is my question:Why do people do drugs?

Ok I want to know why people do drugs just to relax the pain away.... And even cut themselves just to relieve their pain.Don't you think that's really stupid!!!! I do and if you do drugs 1 time you know it can kill you or seriously do very bad damage to your body? And if you have a habit of cutting yourselves here is a hint.If you cut to deep and hit your veins you will die and if you die that would be YOUR fault because YOUR the one that did it. and don't go blaming it on someone because they did something and that's what made you do it.No...Bad choice

I'm 24, had my first peritonsillar abcess a month and a half ago. Had to have it drained, went on antibiotics, it came back 2 weeks later because I guess the infection wasn't completely drained. I had it redrained and I've been fine for 3 weeks now, but my mouth doesn't feel like it used to before all this happened. I get pressure/minor pain in my jaw on the side the abscess was on.. sometimes my throat feels tight (but doesn't get sore). Also, before all this happened, my ears clicked everytime I swallowed.. now sometimes it doesn't click in the left ear when I swallow.. like it feels clogged. It feels different.. no pain, just not the same. I've spent hours trying to research this but I haven't found any info. I know this sounds slightly hypochondriac-ish, but I want to know what's going on.

I am 13 years old and my definition of claustrophobia would be when you are in tight, small places and have trouble breathing. Am I right? If so, lately when I go to the movie theaters or am stuck in a packed-up area I have trouble breathing. I have never been this way before. I try to inhale and exhale deeply, to relax, but that just seems to make it worse.
