Herbal Life products started out as one of those brands distributed by 'Dealers' only, sort of like Amway. It was the same sort of pyramid structure and to make money it wasn't so much about selling product as it was recruiting more dealers and then receiving a % of their profits. Not that the above info answers your question, just a little background on the company.
To answer your question, yes, they are good products and contain high quality ingredients and such, BUT...compared to 'generic' or 'house' brands such as Walmart's Equate there are no differences at all in percentage of recommended daily allowances of vitamins or minerals. The only difference to be found is price, that being about double that of the generic sort and as far as science has been able to determine higher price has no effect on overall health, in fact it may be worse in that you have to work that much more to afford the more expensive alternatives!

YES they do work, no they are not just novice. I USE THE PRODUCTS & I KNOW THEY WORK...but like all products, you MUST make the effort to know the background & the facts & if YOUR serious about wanting to know...get the info FROM THE RIGHT SOURCE first hand. I have herbalife products myself & once again with any product, you need to stick to the correct suggested intake ie: daily/weekly & the amount consumed. here's a direct link to a Herbalife coach - he's honest & he's a great person...I have come to trust in the product through this coach & hope you can also & NO, he wont push to 'sell' you anything, or sign you up for anything...just be up front about what you want to know & can GUARANTEE he'll be happy to answer all your questions. You can get the same products at a grocery or health food store for MUCH less money.
