Use lots of heat and constantly move it as much as you can with discomfort only, not pain. The ligaments and muscles and tendons will be very stiff but they will slowly losen.

A friend in her 90s recently had surgery for the frozen shoulder and immediately had feeling in the shoulder and more use of it .The surgery was obviously successful or helpful for her.

Dose heat help. If it helps a little, use heat to loosen up & then move the shoulder as much as you can. Keep moving it until there is discomfort. Move it as much as you can within the range where there is no pain. Using you shoulder as much as you can if there is no pain. in time the range of movment should increase.

Learn to tell the difference between discomfort & pain. You will have to put up with some discomfort.
