Ok, I heard that some rubbing alcohol (isopropyl or ethyl) is absorbed through skin...which probably means denaturants are absorbed too. If I swam in it up to my neck, without ingesting it at all, would I get poisoned?

i crack my fingers, neck, toes, wrists, knees, back, and ankles. i just read an article saying that its ok to crack your fingers and stuff and it said that cracking your fingers isnt bad for you at all but if you do it too much then it isnt good. well im kind of addicted to it and my fingers havent swelled up or been soar it actually makes then feel better. i just get stiff and cracking them helps. i know it doesnt lead to arthritis but i wasnt sure what it could lead to. if anyone knows anything about what could possibly happen, please help me. and if you think that ill get arthritis, please dont even bother telling me, i know it wont happen. thank you!

i have had them since i was 8-9 but went away untill 20 and now 4-5 a week . i have tryied it all the only thing that worked was topamax but side effect were just as bad my job drug tested me 2x they thouhgt i was high i told them it was my meds but they didnt care i just had a triger point injection i still got my head aces but i still could work but for the past 2 days i have been half bline and sick normal pain meds dont work and i cant work on stronger stuff i try not to miss that much work total 5 days and have gone home 3 what i would like to now is what do you take and is there a law for work like if someone has high booldp sorry iam on meds my spelling is off so no dumb jokes about that

Some reason my legs hurt the most. I cant even walk right. When i get up from teh seat my leg hurts and i can barely walk right.

I can feel hot, cold and type, but my finger feels like it is stiff and half asleep. It has been bothering me for two weeks. Sometimes is starts to tingle like your foot does when it has been asleep. Has anyone ever had this. Been going on for a cuple of weeks

Why is my right leg hurting really badly?? I get these sharp pains down it, and i'm on my rag or at least starting it, and i hurt like i have really bad cramps now and from my pelvic bone down, my right leg is feel like it goes numb and then it comes back to feeling, i have these pains and it hurts, what could it be???? I have trouble walking....could it be my appendix flaring up and is causing this to happen??

Hi I've had a muscle strain for last 2 and a half months it hasnt healed the first month a a half the pain was so bad i could only really lay in bed, Now ive only been diagnosed by a normal doctor this week that ive had one. The thing is i sweat and get muscle spasms anywhere from my calves to my neck. I read somewhere that these are symptoms of a severe muscle strain and probably needs surgery what do you think? What kind of tests should i request from my Doctor? BTW i did have MRI on my spine,blood tect ect and everything checks out fine.

A few days ago, I tripped on a shoe and twisted my ankle(fell on it). My ankle was hurting for a few days after. Then today, my ankle stopped hurting but my hamstrings started to hurt with every step I take(hamstring in both legs). What's wrong with my legs(technically hamstrings)?

I am 23 yrs old and am former military. when i was 19 i was diagnosed with a (L) femoral neck stress fracture of 50% of the compressive side. the doctors elected not to do surgery to repair it so i was put on crutches for at 6 months. At first x-rays didnt show the fracture and i was misdiagnosed with bursitus. but when the pain didnt go away an mri was ordered and it found the problem. i was medically retired and 18 months later was cut out of my benefits because an x-ray that i had to do showed no stress fracture was there anymore.(the doctors exact words were "im not gonna have them do an $11,000 MRI scan for this.)now i am going through the veterans affairs and today i went for an evaluation because i am filing a claim because of the pain i get from prolonged walking/standing, sitting down, getting up etc. and other knee problems from being on the crutches for that period of time. could i still have problems with the fracture with me being on my feet. They wouldnt do an MRI either.

I had my Ankle Fusion on April 28, 2006. I still get swelling. I am trying to get physical therapy. I now have Tendonitus in my other Ankle. I also get severe Back Pain. I was wondering if anyone experienced the same?
