Ok, I heard that some rubbing alcohol (isopropyl or ethyl) is absorbed through skin...which probably means denaturants are absorbed too. If I swam in it up to my neck, without ingesting it at all, would I get poisoned?

Maybe. I am sure that you would experience some major burning in a couple of spots about half way down your body. The alcohol removed oils from your skin and causes it to get very dry. That would not feel good all over. Then consider that you would be quite flammable until it evaporated. And finally, during the evaporation process you would be very, very cold.
