A broken bone usually heals along the following time lines. Typically the bone will be 50% healed within 2-3 weeks , 75% healed in 6-8 weeks and 100% healed in 12 weeks provided you are wearing a cast and have no significant medical problems. The cast will likely be removed at the 6-8 week mark depending upon the type of fracture and your age.

It's FEMUR. Healing depend son your age-if you are a child, it should heal in about 3-6 months. For an adult, uncomplicated healing will take about 6-12 months.
