I frequently get UTI's and I usually drink cranberry juice (it's the right kind) and extra water for them. This usually helps. But today I noticed some bloody tissue in my urine. It was quite painful to go. But why did I get that this time? Is it a bladder or kidney infection? I have no back pain, so I'm guessing that rules out kidney infection and my bladder does feel a bit swollen and is painful when I sit down and get up. I was reading up on bladder infections and it didn't say anything about tissue coming out. Could this be something else?

I was in a motorbike crash in january and was very badly injured. I broke 19 bones. I have made a good recovery but still have problems with my right hand. the most notice able is that my little finger has fused. the bones wer all smashed and have heald in to 1 bone. this means i cannot move my little finger. My doctor has recomended i have it removed as i tend to catch it in doors and draws. the only reason to keep it is for cosmetic reasons. i know i will find things easyer with out it in the way but cutting off a finger is a big move. what should i do?

I have been told the doctors cant really help with ribs, you just have to give them some time. Is it worth getting an x-ray anyway? I did it over 2 weeks ago now and it still hurts. Sometimes worse than others and really bad when I cough.

we in everyday life very commonly experience an attack of cold.it stats in nose block, drip to throat, leads to throat and chest congestion and affects the respiratory systems.Thee should be some ways to build up resistance and some remediies to treat the common cold before there is bacterial infection and we start taking antibiotics.sometimes it turns very nasty, sometimes it is mild and on its accord vanishes .

Why does my top number range from 130 to 142 My bottom number is always the same - 75. Is this dangerous, is it normal for my age (over 60). Once in a while my top number will be 128. Blood pressure medicines have harsh side affects for me so I do not take them. Thank you.

My mother was taken into emergency after developing an acute reaction to a medicine. She developed inflammation of almost all her tissues in her body in a shor time. Doctors injected her in the arm with an anti-inflammatory (im assuming) and she was released a few hours later.. but she still feels pain in the area where she was injected. I don't know what she was injected with. She is skinny.. and about 55 years old. Any idea if this pain usually lasts this long? Anything she can do to reduce the pain?

I am just wanting people who have been in a coma, or people who have worked with or talked to people who have been in one, to tell me what it is actually like. Is it one long sleep, with dreams and diffferent realities. Or is it like been awake within a paralised body?? I am just really interested to know.

I have a broken fibula, its a clean lateral break two inches above the ankle. It has been 5 days since the accident and being in the military stationed in Korea, there is a problem with Tricare getting me to a base 3 hours away to see the ortho doctor. Right now i am wearing a splint held together with ace bandages.

When the X-rays were taken the day after the break, the bone was perfectly in place... now 5 days later could it be aligned differently, could the healing have started already, and how bad will it be if its not perfectly inplace when it is healed?
