I frequently get UTI's and I usually drink cranberry juice (it's the right kind) and extra water for them. This usually helps. But today I noticed some bloody tissue in my urine. It was quite painful to go. But why did I get that this time? Is it a bladder or kidney infection? I have no back pain, so I'm guessing that rules out kidney infection and my bladder does feel a bit swollen and is painful when I sit down and get up. I was reading up on bladder infections and it didn't say anything about tissue coming out. Could this be something else?

I've had a UTI where I too had blood in my urine. I had many of them before but none of them where I bled. It indeed was a UTI ! The doctor told me it was probably from oral sex.

No you just have another UTI. A severe UTI causes tissue sloughing from the walls of the bladder. The more often you get a UTI, the more severe it has to become before you are aware of symptoms. I have had so many that now I don't know it until I develop a fever, and that is pretty bad.
Suggest strongly that you see a urologist to find out why you are getting so many infections. Chronic infections can lead to bladder cancer.

It sounds as in case you need to have stones on your bladder or kidneys, or a kidney an infection. i'm no professional, yet i've got had the two stones and a kidney an infection. in case you have a kidney stone which you try to pass it truly is going to harm once you urinate, and for a at an identical time as after. you somewhat would desire to pass to the physician even nevertheless you do no longer desire to, because of the fact whether it is your kidneys and you pass away it untreated you would be able to develop into blocked, which could be existence-threatening. you additionally can take cranberry extract pills (discovered contained in the nutrition isle at maximum shops) to reason your urine to be extra acidic, reducing the dimensions of stones and hindering the formation of latest ones.

Sounds like the start of a kidney infection that I had once..But no matter what it is you should go to a hospital NOW! If you are bleeding and you have no reason to be bleeding and it is from somwhere like that espicaly you need to get treated...Also to many UTI's can cause major issues...There is a reason you get them..You may know why you may not..But you need to be checked out...What if it is somthing major??

It means that it is time to phone the Gyn and ask his nurse if you should see the doctor. If you don't have a doctor, please go to a clinic. Infections have a nasty habit of spreading fast. Hope it is harmless, but you need to know for sure. Good luck.

You should get an exam as soon as possible. It might be from your uterus and not from your bladder.
