It is totally irrelevant for how many hours I sleep, or what time I go to sleep or wake up. Or whether naps are factored in or not. Nor does eating breakfast have any impact other than making me need to use the bathroom. I am just not a morning person I guess. But what is it about me that only gives me energy after I've been working all day long. I wake up after anywhere between 5 and 9 hours of sleep, and just HAVE TO hit the snooze button about 3 times. I feel hung over every morning. On the train to school I practically fall asleep. I would need about 3 coffees if I wanted to see any effect, but it just screws up my stomach so bad that it's not at all worth it. I fall asleep in classes and do not absorb even 1% of the information that I'm given(I owuldn't even bother going if attendance wasn't mandatory, since I ended up learning everything from my books at home anyway), then as soon as school/work (depending on the time of year) is over I am so wide awake.

Okay, on 28 July I broke my 5th metatarsal on my left foot. Had my leg in cast up to my knee for 4 weeks and told to come back in 4 weeks for another xray to see if it had healed, if it hadn't, they said they would put another cast on. When I went back after 4 weeks, they took my cast off and discharged me without an xray, when I questioned about the xray they said it was more dangerous to xray me! Still after 3 weeks in pain I went to the doctors' and requested my own xray and it was still broken! Not due to see same consultant till Wednesday. I've got a new lump on my foot and it is still giving me alot of pain. It hasn't healed properly and can hardly walk and can't drive at all. Surely this is wrong. My life's been put on hold and I feel like I'm going mad sometimes. Shall I take action against the NHS?

If you guys watch Bourne Supremacy, you'll notice the scene where Bourne perform CPR to the lady trapped in her car underwater. He supposed to pull her out of the vehicle and attempt to revive her on a dry land.Don't tell me a CIA agent can't perform CPR in logical manner.I've ask my friend who is a doctor about this and he told me that underwater CPR is rubbish and there's no way for us to perform CPR on a person underwater where you blow air into the person's mouth while he/she swallowed water into the lungs.Sounds kinda silly huh?I guess Bourne Supremacy is not worth watching when it comes to this particular scene. What do you guys think?

Ok, I know I am gonna catch alot of slack for this already, but every so often, on occasion, my ex husband and I still have a sexual relationship. Problem is, he is a drug addict, and his method of choice is IV. This is a problem in and of itself, but I asked him tonight if he had EVER used a dirty needle, and he said he used his ex girlfriend's ONCE. I said once is no excuse, and he went on to say that he had sterilized it first, and he only used it cause there was no other needle around (this of course was not good enough of an excuse for me!). His ex girlfriend was diagnosed with chronic hepatitis, but then the drs later recanted that and blamed it on liver failure from doing too much dope. Should I be tested for HIV and hepatitis? How long does Hepatitis take to show up? I know HIV has a window period of six months.
Also, I am only a FORMER drug user, and we do use protection on the occasion something does happen between us, but still...theres always that chance, isnt there

I got punched in the eye about a week ago. The Dr. said I need surgery to repair a fracture in the bone around the eye. My question is this: my cornea (the white part) is still COMPLETELY red/purple. When should this be starting to go away? Could it stay like this? If anyone has ever had this experience, let me know. Serious answers only.

I had shin splints back during summer softball season. Now that the splints have been gone for about two months I have this pain when a walk. Everytime I step and apply weight on my left foot it hurts around the front ball near the big toe. My big toe is stiff like its jammed. The pain feels like it is between the big toe and second toe. The pain only comes and goes but is there each day. This has been going on since the shin splints went away. I don't think it is gout because of the time length I've had this. Any ideas of what this could be?

Ok. So the other day my eye started to hurt. I'm not sure of why or what caused it but it just hurt pretty damn bad...so i took out my contacts assuming that would fix my problem. But it didn't. My eye continues to hurt and tear. I know it sounds like pink eye-it very well could be-but there looks to be a little white spot or something on the edge of my iris. I don't know what it is, or what it COULD be. I would call the eye doctor, but its Saturday now. So if anyone has any ideas of what it could be~LET ME KNOW.

But i am still going to the eye doctor on Monday.
