In my gym class we did some running, but the people in front of me were to slow so i sped up to pass them, and when i did i had to keep a speed i normally wouldnt run at to stay infront of them, and so now im wondering if i might have shin splints? I searched Shin Pains and the most popular answer was Shin Splint. Most of the symbols/signs whatever you wanna call them, i think i may have.

My Lower legs hurt, expecially when i walk. And when i first sit down they throb.
how do i know if i do? and if i do how do i rid the pain?

I am so tired of the almighty doctors that seem to think that they are a higher being and are disrespectful not only to nurses in general, but female nurses that are their elders? You call them as you are supposed to do when a patient is ill, and you get crap from them like you disrupted thier life. Any other nurses want to join in?

One of my best friends has been having alot of seizures lately and the doctor told her today that she has been having the grandma ones? Can somebody shed some light on these kind of seizures like what are some of the symptoms and what if anything can be done for these? I really want to help her but I feel helpless and feel like just balling when she has one of those seizures. Anybody at all if possible?

My usually snug-up-against-my-foot-little toe could flop a complete 90 degree angle after bashing it on something yesterday. No insurance, so I need to figure if it's broken or dislocated. Much bruising & swelling at the site. LOTS of pain if it is touched or brushed against. Can walk on it w/o much difficulty, but real discomfort. How do I know if it's broken or dislocated? Can I fix a dislocated toe at home, or will I do more damage? HELP!

I was thinking about commiting a crime just so I can get needed health and dental care. Only prisoners are given health benefits in this country-how sick is that! Here's another warning regarding SODA IN CANS! We certainly live in a dangerous world. This incident happened recently in North Texas.A woman went boating one Sunday taking with her some cans of coke which she put into the refrigerator of the boat. On Monday she was taken to the hospital and placed in the Intensive care Unit. She died on Wednesday. The autopsy concluded she died of Leptospirosis. This was traced to the can of coke she drank from, not using a glass. Tests showed that the can was infected by dried rat urine and hence the disease leptospirosis.Rat urine contains toxic and deathly substances. It is highly recommended to thoroughly wash the upper part of soda cans before drinking out of them. The cans are typically stocked in warehouses and transported straight to the shops without being cleaned. A study at NYCU showed that the tops of soda cans are more contaminated than public toilets (i.e).. full of germs and bacteria. So wash them with water to aviod getting sick.

I was given a prescription for Thymol 4% in 70% ethyl alcohol to apply to my fingernails 4 times a day to treat a nail bacteria/fungus. I would like to know what if any side effects this has and what precautions I need to take while using it. How long should it take to begin to work?
