In my gym class we did some running, but the people in front of me were to slow so i sped up to pass them, and when i did i had to keep a speed i normally wouldnt run at to stay infront of them, and so now im wondering if i might have shin splints? I searched Shin Pains and the most popular answer was Shin Splint. Most of the symbols/signs whatever you wanna call them, i think i may have.

My Lower legs hurt, expecially when i walk. And when i first sit down they throb.
how do i know if i do? and if i do how do i rid the pain?

I used to get those as a kid and I would have to lay very still all night and in the morning they would be gone. I remember a bone pain and it was constant...nothing I did would trigger pain...it was just there all the time.

Stop Shin Splints Forever?

as a soccer player, ive had shin splints in my past and they hurt like hell. one year they got so bad that i could barely sprint or run fast. there are several possibilities for getting shin splints such as flat feet, wearing shoes that dont properly support your arches, running on hard ground (my problem), or working too hard that your body cant handle it. try buying some better supporting shoes or slowing down a bit. theres nothing the doctor can do for it, i went about a year ago. shin splints is when your muscle begins to tear away from your shin bone so thats not something you can cure. try your options. good luck!

shin splints hurt the lower leg, opposite side of the calf. Just the part in front. this tends to happen when you walk downhill without stretching the area first.

You should stretch the area to heal the pain, but sorry, I can't remember the stretch.

you just pushed yourself too hard when your body wasn't ready - shin splints happen when you try to do more than your body has been trained to do - if you are going to run, gradually increase the length of time you run, preferably about 30 seconds per interval and you will gradually build up
