it's GREAT for the liver, and i suppose will purge the body of lots of impurities. However, the purging of lead involves something different. It involves something called chelation, which binds to the lead and is purged through the normal urination process.
Too many kids were exposed over the years because of kids coming in contact with lead-laden paints in very old houses. They didn't start to paint with lead-free paints until like the 70's or 80's. Paint was in very poor quality back then, and would chip off the wall. That's why, in the movie "Tommy Boy", someone asks Tommy, "Did you eat paint chips when you were a kid?" Lead-laden paints are a direct cause of kids being slow learners.
