General Health Care - August 2006

I've been playing guitar for a couple of decades and I've developed a pain on the fingertip of my index finger (fretboard hand). It is not the calous stuff. It's deeper. Seems to be bone or nerve. Any suggestions on how to heal?

SEE ME AND MY MAN WENT OUT TO EAT FOR OUR CELABRATION OF BEING TOGETHER FOR 2 YEARS AND I LETF MY 10 YEAR OLD GIRL HOME WITH HER THREE SISTERS ONE IS 10 THE OTHER ONE IS 13 THE OTHER ONE IS 11 AND I DID NOT BELIEVE THEM CAUSE THEY SAID THAT A PERSON CALLED THEM AND SAID HE GONE RAPE THEM AND I JUST GOT A CHILD SO I GOT 4 GIRLS NOW ANYWAY SHE IS 12 AND MY BOYFRIEND SAID QUIT TRYING TO MAKE US COME HOME EARLEY AND I TOOK THE PHONE AND SAID WHAT'S WRONG THEY SAID A MAN SAID HE GONE RAPE THEM I SAID COME ON LET'S GO HOME BIT MY BOYFRIEND SAID NO I TOOK THE CAR KEYS AND LEFT HIM AND I WENT HOME THEY WERE IN THE ROOM WITH SOME MAN BANGING ON THEY ROOM DOOR WITH A KNIFE AND I SHOT HIM BUSTED MY KIDS DOOR DOWN AND HE GOT UP AND I BEAT THE HOLY HELL OUT OF HIM AND HE LEFT AND I CALLED THE POLICE AND I SAT MY KIDS DOWN GAVE THEM A KISS OF COUSE MY 13 YEAR OLD AND SAID THANK YOU FOR TAKEING CARE OF YOUR LITTLE SISTERS

I'm not really even sure what's wrong with me. My bottom eyelid under my left eye is REALLY baggy. It's not like lack-of-sleep bags. It's sort of just puffing out really badly. I don't have red eyes or the same problem with my other eye. The eye isn't bloodshot or anything either, and the tissue does not hurt when I touch it. It mostly just annoys me when I look down and feels a little raw if I rub my finger across it. I don't wear contacts and the only different eye-related thing in my routine is that yesterday when I took off my eyemakeup, I used a decent amount of cold cream. I don't usually use this, but I was experimenting with eye makeup (which I used on both eyes, so I don't think it was an allergy there). I've tried flushing it with water... any idea on a diaganosis or an idea for a treatment? It just showed up about an hour ago.

Yesterday I was doing my sketching homework for my drawing class, and when I was finished, my right wrist (the broken one) is EXTREMELY painful, not even pain-relievers would work! The pain is caused by this feeling on my wrist like I need to pop it but I cant because its in a cast, and its very, VERY painful. What do you think is wrong? How could I stop the pain?

There about 3/4 of the way back of what you can see when you open your mouth. It's been harder to swallow & loosing voice frequently. Mouth has also seems to be more sensitive to spices & sugar.

I know you can get laxatives to make you poop, but can you take something to force vomiting? Sometimes when i feel really sick & need to vomit, I try to make myself throw up & it just doesn't happen.

Last february (2006) I was skiing and I fell backwards hitting my head on hard ice. The first aid place said I probably had a minor concussion. I never went to the doctor for it or anything, but I kept getting headaches for 2-3 weeks after. But right now, my head hurts a lot where I hit my head, in the right lower back of my head. Why? And should I do anything about it? I wasn't unconscious at all but I could barely walk straight and got really dizzy after I fell.

He exists on milk/milk-shakes, cereal, wholemeal bread, fruit juice and french-fries. I worked out that he probably meets his nutritional needs, but there's so little variety! I do try to set a good example by eating plenty of veg, fish, etc., but he won't comply. Occasionally I get him involved in the meal preparation, but he STILL wont eat anything. Nevertheless, he is gaining weight and doesn't appear to be undernourished.
Whenever I get strict and ban biscuits, sweets and other treats, he loses weight, so I cave in. The only whole fruit/veg he'll eat are apples, carrots, and broccoli occasionally. Can anyone advise, please?
