He got bit on his penis by either an ant or a mosquito, not sure which but now his penis is swollen and red and he wont stop scratching it due to it itching as well. What could cause a reaction that bad and is there anything I can put on it until I can get him either into his doctor or the emergency room?

About 14 years ago i had an operation and grommets were put in my ears, then recently i went to the doctors with earache and it turns out one of the grommets are still in my ear! does anyone know what will happen if it doesnt come out or why it has been there for years?! The doctor explained but it wasnt helpful, i need another opinon!!!! Thankyou!

Are there any other med that would cause a positive reading? This test was taken just to detect oxycontin and the person being test has not had oxycontin. My friend takes a morphine patch and that is what he thinks caused the positive reading.

I had a minor accident... I rammed my toe into a chair over the weekend, which broke the nail in the middle. It hurt & bled that day & was kinda sore the next. It felt fine the day after, so no problem I was hoping. However after ramming it hard again (cuz it's kinda hard not to), it affected the rest that was still attached. Now the whole nail is sticking straight up, like a bloody puppet (literally)! It's not bleeding too badly now, just drains if I walk on it too much. Needless to say it looks gross, it's kind of embarrassing, uncomfortable to put pants on, & I can only wear flip flops with latches that I can swing open. If I press down on the it, it's very sore. I'm trying to keep it clean, putting peroxide, neosporin, etc. But I don't even know how I should cover it cuz I put gauze on it yesterday, only for it to get stuck! What should I do, wait for it to fall off, or is there a way to expedite the time to fall off? How long to grow back, risk of infection, etc? Help

It hurts when I press off my feet going sideways. The injury is on the outside of my knee. heavy contact with the ground causes a sharp, constant pain when I walk. And it feels loose at certain points. My friend tore his pcl and I hope that I didn't tear anything. what would be the best route to follow to heal myself without medical care. thank you for all your help and time.

My doc said that I'd have to get surgery on my knee after hyperextending it in gymnastics. He said if I couldnt walk on it before the end of summer that I would have to get it. Can anyone give me any advice on how to stop being nervous?? Can anyone help me get through it?? Its on Friday. Anything to do after??
