I'm not really even sure what's wrong with me. My bottom eyelid under my left eye is REALLY baggy. It's not like lack-of-sleep bags. It's sort of just puffing out really badly. I don't have red eyes or the same problem with my other eye. The eye isn't bloodshot or anything either, and the tissue does not hurt when I touch it. It mostly just annoys me when I look down and feels a little raw if I rub my finger across it. I don't wear contacts and the only different eye-related thing in my routine is that yesterday when I took off my eyemakeup, I used a decent amount of cold cream. I don't usually use this, but I was experimenting with eye makeup (which I used on both eyes, so I don't think it was an allergy there). I've tried flushing it with water... any idea on a diaganosis or an idea for a treatment? It just showed up about an hour ago.

I'm holding an ice pack wrapped in a wash cloth to it to see if it reduces the swelling....

my eye is still the same... except it's gotten very tender to the touch and sore. I showered to see if maybe the steam would help, but to no avail... this pretty much sucks.

It sounds like a reaction to rubbing or irritation. The best thing for now is to leave it alone and don't cause further trauma to your eye. She a doctor if a good nights sleep doesn't help.

Most products tell you to avoid eye areas!!
Give yourself a mini spa treatment :
After washing your face well with a mild soap and warm water, rinse with very cold water, and pat dry. Now place cucumber slices over your eyes and relax for 10 - 15 minutes. See if this doesn't help you feel better and reduce puffiness. And keep all products out of your eye socket areas!!

Try placing a cool compress (wet washcloth) on it. See if the swelling goes down. Also, to rule out an allergic reaction, take a little bit of Benadryl. If the eye is still swollen tomorrow, see your doctor.

it's possible the cold cream could have irritated the lid (which is very sensitive). Try not using any products on or around the eye for 24 hours...if it's still looking the same, or if you develop more symptoms, see your doctor or eye doctor to rule out infection.

Honestly, I'd see a doctor...eyes are just too precious to take chances with.

I'd say no more eyeliner or mascara till it goes away or less of it if you can't live without it.
