I've been playing guitar for a couple of decades and I've developed a pain on the fingertip of my index finger (fretboard hand). It is not the calous stuff. It's deeper. Seems to be bone or nerve. Any suggestions on how to heal?

I suggest going to a dr. and have it x-rayed to figure out what is wrong.....

my fingers do that sometimes when im playing too i started taking aleve before i play and it works! u could either try that or go to the doctor if that doesnt work! good luck and rock on!

aleve. it sounds like arthritis pain. happens to the best of us. (piano player)
