Strep is a bacterial infection and other than over the counter medications to soothe a sore throat there isn't anything that will cure it,you have to go to the doctor and get antibiotics to make a strep infection go away.

no, strep is a bacterial infection that must be treated with antibiotics. Have you had a strep test from your doctor to confirm it's actually strep? if not, you need to do so. If it turns out to be viral, it'll have to run it's course, but you can treat the symptoms with over the counter medications.

strep is a very serious infection and can be very harmful if left untreated, see your doc asap.

I am not sure by if not taken care of quicky strep can cause major problems with vital organs, for example, the heart, etc.

Nothing over-the -counter for strep. Anti-biotics are your best bet.

Nope aint much you can do but get to the doctor you might can get something like ambesol or sore throat spray to numb it for pain but your doc may need to give you some antibiotics.

Antibiotics. My mom is very strict with this. Nags me til I take the kids.

Her mom's heart got heart disease from it being untreated somehow. It was like in the 40's or something though
