STDs - October 2006

Many people think that because mouth can develop open sores, syphilis can spred through kissing. But CDC website does not mention kissing. For bacteria to pass through by kissing the bacteria must be able to attack the mouth of a healthy person. Does that happen. Can anybody show me a link wwhere kissing is clearly mentioned as a cause?

IAm 27years old, I feel it is the time to get married and live the family life. For the coming 2years, I should be married and at least have one kid.

But, I feel too much scared, I suppose it comes positive?? will all my dreams be shut down? will be able to have a baby if found positive??. What will be the reaction from my friends? family and other relatives?.Really these are the questions daily ringing in my head.

These questions acted as a break for me to go for a test. Should I mary before testing? how about the kid if found positive? how about its mom?.Just a bit cough make me feel,ooooooooh! the symptoms have already started!!!Lots and lots of questions burning my brain.

i went to the doctor a month ago to see about getting my genital warts removed.They are very very large,and in clusters.Ive tried condylox gel,but it doesnt work that well since they are so large and it makes me too sore.She said that I need to go to general surgery to see if there are any inside my rectum.So she had to send me a refferal.For some reason Gen. surgery sent it back, and it took her an entire month,and me calling weekly to get ahold of her to find out what was going on!and to send the referral to another location!and this isnt even to get them removed!,since ive seen her my genital warts have gotten worse. I told her i need to be seen urgently, and she told me that if she tells them that id be put above people that have cancer,so it may be urgent to me, but it prob. isnt urgent to them.They are really bad!,im bleeding alot,sore,and its blocking my rectum!i need to have them removed ASAP and yet she seems like she doesnt care, what should i do?should I c another doctor?

When I got my prescription to clear up my Bacterical Vaginosis, I was on my menstraul. I decided to use it anyway because I've dealt with this condition for over a year. On the third day of my period, I started to notice some clots, unlike the usual ones I have during my cycle. I figured the stuff was discarding the BV, but there were SO MANY and they were cold and not the color of my "blood." Today is the 22nd and I started my period on the 12th...but there is still something coming out of me, it's brown, not the color of old blood, but a much lighter brown. So is the medicine working? Or did I mess something up down there?

Last night I had unprotected sex with a new partner. At some point during the sex I noticed pain coming from the tip of the penis (outside skin) just under the head. This morning the area/head is red/sensitive to the touch, not something I believe due to lack of lubrication. If this is an STD, would the pain/discomfort be immediate like that (middle of sex?)? There is no dripping or pain when peeing. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks in advance....

Modern HIV blood tests can become positive as few as 10 days after infection and are positive in ~95% of infected persons within 3-4 weeks, reaching ~100% by 6 weeks. (Please nobody hold me to precise numbers--but these are close.) It is almost unheard of for a positive test result to be delayed 3 months and especially 6 months. That was the story until a few years ago, but not now."

For the past year i've been experencing some small itchy bumps and if i scratch them they become very painful. I went to two different doctors and one said it look like a irration and the other said it's hair bumps and it dont look like herpes, but when i research this on the internet most sites say it's herpes could two doctors be wrong???????????
