When I got my prescription to clear up my Bacterical Vaginosis, I was on my menstraul. I decided to use it anyway because I've dealt with this condition for over a year. On the third day of my period, I started to notice some clots, unlike the usual ones I have during my cycle. I figured the stuff was discarding the BV, but there were SO MANY and they were cold and not the color of my "blood." Today is the 22nd and I started my period on the 12th...but there is still something coming out of me, it's brown, not the color of old blood, but a much lighter brown. So is the medicine working? Or did I mess something up down there?

Just a question...why didn't they prescribe you tablets? Can you not take tablets for some reason?

Creams sometimes don't work very well at all. This medication is available in a tablet form (I've taken it before this way). It tastes horrible, but it's a lot better then the cream.

Call your doctor and tell them what's going on. Ask them if there is a way they can switch your prescription to the tablet form, or even make another appointment and have them look at you again. Good luck!

Go to the doctor. Don't trust a bunch of web heads with your body. We don't know your medical history or anything other than what we have experienced. Call your Dr.'s office.
