The warts can be treated with medication and/or surgery, but there is no cure for the virus that causes the warts (HPV - Human papillomavirus). Most people are able to get rid of the virus all on their own though. It's not a "cure" but a lot of people's bodies can basically "fight off" the virus.

There are several topical medications (creams) that can be used to treat the warts though, like Aldara or Condylox which can be applied at home, or medications that can be used by the doctor during several visits to them. If they are severe or the medications don't work you may need to have them surgically removed, which from what I have heard can be pretty painful.

Sorry to tell you that like several other STD's including HIV, there is NO CURE for genital warts. It's best to tell whoever has this condition to go see a doctor and have them put on medication that can help ease the pain and some of the symptoms...but nothing will make it completely go away.

Yes, there is. What you are talking about is called Condyloma. The doctors usually give you something called podophyllin to dry them. You also have to soak in a tube. If they do not go away, a physician can cut them away. I know someone who pulled theirs off one at a time after being treated with podophyllin.
