My husband showed a strange breakout on his penis that REALLY looked like herpes. He went to the dr. and they took blood and a swab test and tested for herpes and every other STD. All the tests came back negative but the breakout and symptoms he had (groin pain, burning urination) are just like having herpes. I DON'T UNDERSTAND! Could he still have them even though the tests came back negative while he was tested during a strange breakout?

cause i do want some nurse injecting him with stuff he doesnt have ...he took a hiv test a month ago and he's been having some red spots on his face, mild sore throat , he has an anxiety like s*** he is so frustrated he took a p24 antigen and a normal antibody test at 33 days . i think he's okay because the girl who he f***** doesnt have any diseases she got checked as well with pcr i need some advice

I have been tested before in 04 itwas negative, but not since I learned that my Ex- Husband was messing around while we were married. I started a new relationship with someone I Love Very much and who has tested negative as of two weeks prior to our 1st sexual contact, Now I am worried that I may have caught something( STD's or HIV ) from my Ex. He told me he tested negative after we split up but now I am worried. I have to wait 2 weeks to get the results. I just need some incouragement that everything will be ok.

As I'm sure you all know the semester session of the college year is coming to an end, and I of course am expected to write a very long essay as a final, as well as with another exam (YAY!, no really, there isn’t really a feeling like drinking 3 pots of coffee in a day).

Now anyway, according to this health book, out of a study done with 71 people, one was found to have HIV in his saliva. Now I was planning on putting revolving around this in my report for health class, but the book does not give a source or anything about where this study was conducted, or even when.

The book is called Access to Health by Rebecca J. Donatelle. I've been googling this for a while, and all I see is stuff regarding that kissing is a safe activity, extremely low risk, ect. Does anyone have ANY details on this study, or have a link to a similar one?

I'm not asking for information at ALL!! I just want a source that I can quote in my report.

Between 07-2005 and 11-2005 I was having sex with this girl, well she is my ex and she had a boyfriend when we were fooling around. So in 02-03-2006 I went to get tested for STDs and HIV and everything came out ok but now I'm asking myselft should I've had waited longer to get tested or was that long eough, what do you think???

I know that it is usally transferred through sexual contact and contact with genitals but what about sheets and towels? If a person wipes their area with a towel and then you use the towel are you at risk? Are you at risk if you use the same sheets or sleep in the same bed? What about if a person touches their area then touches you, can you get it? What if a person has a open wound or a closed healing wound and you touch it? Is it transferred? What about kissing, open mouth and kissing on the cheek? What about hugs?

The nurse informed me that I had chlamydia. Immediately after finding out, I asked my boyfriend about it. He got tested twice, once after he found out I had it and the second time to make sure he didn't have it. BOTH times they were negative. He took the test before he was given the medication, afraid he was going to get somethng from me.Without thinking of a retest, I immediately took the medication that was prescribed for the std. I have so many questions as to how this could have happened. Is it possible that I could have been misdiagnosed? I was a virgin when we started dating. He's never been unfaithful, but has had one sex partner before me. I know it's been two months, and I already took the medication, but is there a way to find out I was misdiagnosed for something else and not an std? PLEASE HELP!
