Sure you can if the person has a cold sore or any ugly blisters in or around their mouth. Also, you should check his or her mouth before kissing. I always ask before kissing any man. I ask when was the last time they dated. I ask when was the last woman you been with sexually. I take no chances. Be aware and alert. Check for white spots. Check for anything that looks disgusting to you. Go to websites about Herpes or STD.

Actually--and I could be wrong--but I believe you can get Herpes from kissing someone with a sore on their mouth, french kissing or not.
