Its impossible. If the man has full blown AIDS then the female(s) he has been with will more than likely end up with HIV and then it will turn to AIDS. The baby would have had to get the AIDS or HIV from the mother during the last few weeks of pregnancy or at childbirth.

Nope. The baby can't get AIDS from the father. The mother has to transmit it to the baby.

No, actually the mother is th one who gives AIDS to the child. It hasn't been found when does the mother transmit the virus to the baby. In some cases the babe does not get infected.

hmmm

Im going to say yes- but youre getting AIDS and HIV confused.

The reason why, is because the mother can actually be infected, and still have a negative HIV test. HIV means human immunodeficiency virus.

HIV testing looks for antibodies to HIV. So just because she doesnt test positive, doesnt mean she doesnt have the virus. Loads of people who are living with HIV only tested positive once or twice. Magic Johnson tests negative, but he still has HIV, for example.

AIDS means acquired immune deficienc syndrome, and you dont "catch" AIDS, you catch HIV. HIV ends up being called AIDS when the patient has less than 200 white blood cells left in their body.
So, its impossible for the baby to have AIDS, as soon as it comes out, I would think, but not impossible for it to have HIV.

No. It is possible for the baby to be okay, if certain precautions are taken and certain drugs taken but the mother will get HIV. Of that there is no doubt.
