My daughter, who is 18 has had a stye for the past two weeks and now it is just a painless hard lump that is slightly visible. After her Dr's appointment today she has booked her in with the an eye specialist to have it cut out next week, she's very worried and is not convinced that enough has been done to try and get rid of it (she's been having eyedrops for the past week, and it has shrunk from half the size that it was) is this too soon for surgery?

It actually shrunk by about four times it's size in the last few months. I recently went to the docs for my physical and she noticed it and wanted to biopsy it. It was very small and flat. I never would have guessed it was a mole. It itched also. It looked more like a lacy tattoo than a mole. It went deeper into the skin than above the skin. Two stitches. I've been very curious about it and will see the doc again in a week.

Just started using this product almost a week ago. Already my face stings, looks sunburned, and is flaking off. I know it can take 1 - 3 months to notice full effects. However, I was just wondering how long these side-effects will last? I don't want to waste my time should this not be the product for me. Any tips/suggestions on how long to give it would be appreciated. Walking around with a red, flaky face is JUST AS EMBARRASSING as being broke-out....so how long can I expect this to take; and how long, or how exactly, will I really know Differin is working for me? Thank you for answers in advance!!!

Does shingles always cause severe pain? I have a rash, and it burns and tingles but the pain is bearable. I mean clothing hurts etc. My husband doesn't think it's shingles because I'm not writhing in pain like our son did when he had it a few years ago.
I don't remember having any of the other symptoms, just a painful, tingling and then the rash about a week later. It seems to me some cases could be milder than others. I've been under a lot emotional and mental stress which is what I think caused the outbreak.

I get these bumps underneath the skin on my shin sometimes, directly on the bone. but they come and go and it is not from bumping my shin on things. when they appear, they dont really hurt. if i press on them hard enough, they do hurt and sometimes they turn into a bruise. i read that they could be calcium deposits. any advice?
