I had a cyst burst inside my breast-now i think my nipple is infected

sorry cassie but dealing with your breast can be a serious matter. I think the best thing for you to do is see a doctor. You don't want to end up with a masectomy. I have used neosporin for many infections. However, it depends on the area and if it is something minor. Keep an eye on the area and if it doesn't get better in 3 days see a doctor quick...hope you feel better.

apply heat or warm compresses as often as you can- that'll increase blood flow to the area.
even if you don't want to take oral antibiotics, you may still want to apply some topical antibiotics like bacitracin or neosporin- those are cheap and available over-the-counter, but the topicals only work if the infection is right at the skin surface- it won't get absorbed under the skin.
