I had gotten one on my toe when I was like 10. Just appeared one summer. When we talked to a doctor he said its like a virus that pushes itself out in a wart.
We used that wart remover that is basically an acid. It takes awhile but it will fall off. They came out with that new stuff now that freezes them off. I would try that one first.

kids can get them anywhere. if its on the feet they probably got it from walking barefoot in a public place such as a gym, pool, locker room etc. there is over the counter products you can buy to get rid of them and if that does not work se your local podiatrist. they can put a type o facid on them, freeze them off or if they are really bad they numb the area and burn them off. if you are already a patient of a foot dr. then they will more than likely treat your hands for warts as well.

Try putting a really small piece of duct tape on the wart, so that it just fits over it. Put a Band-Aid on it, and leave it on for two weeks. When you take them off, the warts should come off with the duct tape. It shouldn't hurt at all. Also, if she has exima (idk how to spell it, it's the condition where your skin is really dry all the time), make sure you keep putting lotion on her hands. Dry skin can contribute to warts.
