I've been having this problem for about 5 years now, I feel like my nose is stuffy all the time and every season but it's stuffy in a place where I can't get it out by blowing my nose but SOMETIMES I can just swallow it, sometimes I feel I can't even talk because it gets so stuffy there, especially when I laugh, it's really bothering me and I went to the doctor and he said it MIGHT be just allergies and he would give me some medication if it didn't work then I will have to do some x-rays, well, the medications didn't work and I'm going to see the doc next week, but my question now is, what could this be?
thanks in advance!!

I'm very concerned about an uncle of mine (he is an ex-smoker and has been for about nearly a year) who has suspected bronchitis but it hasn't been confirmed and probably won't be until he sees a specialist. He has been experiencing blackouts when he coughs. His doctor (who can't interpret x-ray results....seriously i am not kidding!) has given him an inhaler which is quite pointless as he cannot use it whilst having a coughing fit so it doesn't prevent him from blacking out. Has anyone experienced what i have described or have any knowledge about it. I've been searching for information on the net but haven't found anything useful.

Five weeks ago I had a slight flu virus,
This has now left me with a cough and intermitant breathlesnes which I am finding quite hard to get rid of,
I have been to see my GP who have put me on a course of Antibiotics and have not taken the full course of medication, I then went to visit my Out Of Hours doctors who prescribed me a Inhaler which I have found isnt helping either.
Please can someone advise what the next best thing is to do
Many Thanks

My sore throat started about 2 days ago and it's been getting bad to the point where swallowing felt like fire. Plus my voice is very fuzzed up and even clearing my throat (which also hurts really bad) doesn't help me talk clearer.

The thing is, I am in college and i cannot afford to lose my voice for too long, because I have a speech class...tomorrow. I need a quick remedy to fix it, preferably natural. There is only so much I can get my hands on too.

I've always wondered this. I don't smoke, I just always thought that, smoke is smoke. And if your lungs are already used to smoking, then you wouldn't cough. Is that true?

My joints/bones ache, I get very bad hot sweats. I get out of breath even when I am eating, I have a bad cough. I have tried Beachems 3 in 1, Carvonia 3 in 1, Carvonia cough syrup, Sudafed and Paracetamel. They have not helped at all.

Hi, for the last 2 weeks I've been having a flare-up of asthma symptoms from a sinus infection. I've been doing nebulizer treatments like crazy and I'm on inhailed steroids, but they're not working. Last night my breathing got to the point where I felt too tired from breathing to continue! It was so physically laborous and my lungs are actually sore today (the next morning). What is that all about? I ended up going into the hospital last night (well, more like early this morning at 4 am), but there was a 6 hour wait, so I left in order to come home and go to my existing doctor's appointment this morning. Can someone please tell me what this "tired of breathing" thing is? Thanks!

Hi, I am pretty petite and in good shape, but have mild OAS, and people are always surprised, including doctors!, that I have it, it was diagnosed during a sleep study at a medical facility....I was wondering if there were other thin people who also had OAS...they say I must have just been born with it...?
