Hello

Have you seen your doctor? Are you on antibiotics?

A fever is a part of your bodies response to fight an infection. However that is a high fever. Especially if you are older than 5/6. Even if it is for a baby there may be something else going on. Infants and children can go into fibril seizures if their fever gets to high.

How long has this fever been going on???? Long term high fever can effect and cause long term damages. (like brain damage) Sometimes a fever can mean that there is other things going on in your body..... a secondary infection or ???????

Any fever that is high should be seen to by a doctor. If you feel like you don't want to "bother" him than call the clinic/doctor's office and leave a message or ask to talk to his nurse. They can check with the doctor and he/she can tell you if they want you to be seen or not. But contact your Doctor!!

Good Luck
Blessings

No this is definitely not normal. I get sinus quite a lot and have never had a temp with it just pain around the eyes and nose and a heck of a headache so I suggest you get to a doctor straight away and if that is not possible take a couple of paracetomol and cool your face and body with a cool wash cloth and if your temp goes any higher and your regular doctor is not available get yourself to the nearest hospital straight away as you could have an underlying infection and temps as high as that can cause a lot of problems so take care and good luck and please do not drive yourself with a temp that high as it can affect your judgement

It's kind of high for an adult; pretty common for a kid. Tylenol (in appropriate doses) should help either one. If it goes any higher, it's time to get to an ER.

To cool a child or adult: Get a wash cloth and a bowl of tepid water. Soak the cloth and wring it out; remove one arm from under the bed covers, and wipe the limb. It will feel cold to the patient; that's normal. Give it a few seconds to dry; put it back under the covers, get the other arm out, and repeat the process. Continue with the legs, one at a time. You will effectively be providing artificial sweat that will help the body temperature drop. If you need more rapid cooling, dampen the torso. If the temp is above 104, or starting to approach 105 in a child OR adult, get to the ER.

go to the hospital. That is way too high for a fever. don't use aspirin to bring it down. you can try tylenol. But, seek medical advice.
