Those are good to take. The other alternative is taking 7000 mg of vitamin C for a couple of days before, and a couple of days after your trip. Don't exceed 9000 mg or you may have some minor diarrhea. High doses of vitamin C will not harm you in any way, and the diarrhea is nothing serious if you get up to that level. But that's one way of reinforcing your immune system without spending too much money on fancy stuff.

I took it once when I was getting a headache and felt like crap. Although the taste was pretty nasty, it work immediately. Highly reccomend it.

I've taken them, I don't know if they work or if I just wasn't near anyone sick, I haven't got sick or stayed healthy...just maintained!!
