It exposes you to second hand smoke but it doesn't make you a smoker. However, being exposed to the smoke is almost as unhealthy as actually smoking.

IT MEANS THAT U R EXPOSED TO PEOPLE THAT SMOKE AND U GET WHAT IS CALLED SECOND HAND SMOKE AND YES IT IS VERY HARMFUL TO YOUR HEALTH!! AND I AM WHAT U CALL A PERSON THAT QUIT SMOKING AND I HATE TO BE EXPOSED TO SECOND HAND SMOKE

yes and its almost as dangerous as somking, especially if you inhale the smoke that is straight from the cigarette.
