Will smoking once affect your health?

by smoking just once, ONE time & then never doing it again, will that already be a high risk of getting cancer?

Even if you smoked a pack a day for ten years, once you stop, your risk of getting any of the smoking-related illnesses gets less and less every day. After a few years, the risk is the same as for someone who never smoked. ONE solitary cigarette wil do nothing but give you a bad headache because you aren't used to it. That's all it'll do. It's the ones after that and after that, for the next 30 years that cause problems. (Incidentally, I've smoked -fairly heavily- for over 35 years and am still going strong. Cancer hits some and not others. It even hits total non-smokers. So it's really a hit-or-miss thing, despite what everybody claims!)

Smoking once will not have a huge effect on your health. However, by smoking once you are more likely to become addicted which will increase your chances of being sick. As well, if you hang out with smokers the second hand smoke you inhale will be harmful to your body.

No I tried it once years ago & threw the pack at my brother never had a craving for one ever again that was over 25yrs ago & my health is fine

no there isnt a very high risk of getting cancer from that. unless u hang out wit smokers.

Smoking one time will lead to another time then another. Should not hurt if you smoked whatever just one time.

NO ITS NOT.....BUT I THINK DAT WE ALL KNOW DAT IF U SMOKE CANCER STICKS ON A DAILY BASIS......IT WILL EVENYUALLY CATCH UP WITH U IN THE LONG RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT UR OK!!!!!!!!!!!
