I'm concerned about pneumonia and was wondering if this was a sign of it. Started in my sinuses and it is moving down.

I had an annual physical examination last Dec. 6, 2006. I received the results almost three weeks after then the findings of my chest X-ray result said that there is a shadow so I need to be tested again for a detailed/precise examination of what that shadow on my chest X-ray means. It's more than two months now and I didn't feel any unusual pain (symptom) on my chest at all but I do experience some common colds because it's winter here in Japan. Next week I'll go to that hospital to undertake the more detailed exam of my chest. I am totally non-smoker by the way. Just kinda bit worry because all my X-ray results in the past years are normal. I'm trying to find out what other lung or heart-related diseases could a shadow on a chest X-ray indicate. I really appreciate any response for this matter. Thank you in advance.

I don't have medical insurance so I can't afford to see a doctor. I've had an upper resp virus for 9days now. I was running a fever last week but that's gone, but I still don't feel well. I don't have much chest congestion or even coughing, but I'm thinking it might be sinus related because I have to constantly blow my nose and gunk comes out. My chest doesn't hurt, I'm not out of breath, but I am very weary.
I had a pneumoccocal vaccine 2+yrs ago, so I'm not too concerned about pneumonia.
I continue with the cold medicines but I don't feel a whole lot better than I did a week ago.
What can I do at home to kick this?

If i have the beginning stages of bronchitis can I spread it by kissing or making out with someone? If so, how long would it take for the symptoms to appear within that other person?

I was just outside, helping a neighbor push their car out of a rut. I was on the exhaust side, but I don't think I had enough exposure to become ill. I do have a headache, but it could be from stress. Once I smelled the fumes of the exhaust I turned my head and held my breath. I'm sure there isn't any problems. Considering smokers inhale it regularly, and autobody guys do too. And I was outside with fresh air. I'm 99% sure that Im fine, but a little rassurance will put an end to this headache.

I woke up today with a pain in my chest, on my right side just above my breast in the middle of my chest. Ok so its just a sort of sharp pain when I breath or move abit. The pain is not too bad, but it is a discomfort. I have experienced this before quite a few times but today its worse than other times. I have told my doctors about it numerous times, but each has said something different. The last one said use nerofen gel, which I am using but its not helping now. This pain comes on abruptly and randomly, every few months, I do have asthma but I have NO breathing problems, just a sharp pain above my right breast on the left side.

What is this? I looked on the internet and I think it might be Costochondritis, I am not a medical person so its just a guess, What do you think? Should I go to the doctor? Everytime I see them they just say, it will go away, dont worry about it. However I am worried

A few years ago I got a realy bad cold. My nose and throat got better, however in the morning or whenever I drink cold stuff, I get a little bit of a runny/stuffed nose. Its annoying and it bothers me when I play sports and drink a cold sports drink and get a runny nose.

What is this and how do I make it better?

I'm going to my new boyfriends house for a week and we're going to be obviously sleeping. Well, I snore. Not horribly so. But I only have on lung so it's more of a breathing/snore thing. I need something that will work for a few days. I can't have surgery because it's so close. Any suggestions?

Hi. I'm 43 and 2 years ago I had 2 surgeries to clip an anerysm in my right frontal brain with no aparent damage. I also have spells of tussive syncopy where I'll cough a bit and pass out but they only knock me out few a few seconds. Well, yesterday I hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, about 2 hours and I worked really hard for two hours doing physical work and got really over heated. Then I cooled off and sat down. When my husband got home I was unconsious and slumped over with my eyes open but rolled back in my head and there was foam coming from my mouth. I woke up in the ambulance and was at the hospital most of the night. They did a C.A.T. scan and ekg and stuff but found nothing. I'm gonna ask my Dr. today for an E.E.G. .What could it have been ? Do I need to get in to the nuerologist ? Is this an emergency ?
