I'm concerned about pneumonia and was wondering if this was a sign of it. Started in my sinuses and it is moving down.

When sinuses start to break up the "stuff" can go down your throat and you will cough stuff up in most cases this is not a problem

But if you notice that it is hard to breath when laying down or it hurts to breath short of breath or you get a high fever go to your Dr's

I had a sinus infection that was being treated and ended up with double pneumonia it is not common but it does happen

What kind of Queen of Mucous has never had a sinus infection?!? Yes, that's common, it's because your sinuses are draining down that back of your throat. Try drinking some peppermint tea with honey in it, that always helps me a lot when I have sinus issues.

And HOW, pray tell are you "being treated for a sinus infection"? Intelligent treatment is A nasal lavage (a pinch of salt in 1/2 cup of water sniffed up the nose-- with the head over a sink of course) and B. a cool mist humidifier to which you add a pint of hydrogen peroxide to the gallon tank.-run that at night near your bed while you sleet-- if you have had antibiotics, and upset your digestive system, get some pro-biotics to get things balanced again!

I get that too. I have sinusitis. My sinuses start draining and it goes down my throat. If your lungs feel tight and you start couching then you might want to go to the doctor but from you describe no.
