If I applied for disability (I have an ongoing spinal and nerve condition which keeps me from working a normal job or normal daily function in life I also have circulation problems.

When someone applies for disability, what do they have to go through? Do they have to get their blood taken and stuff? How much money does a person get monthly from the disability and how soon after someone applies do they get the money?

i have started noticing that my head get sudden jerks and my heads shakes a little, wat can it be? i dont sleep, those jerks a little more powerful.

But its barely noticable!!

My grandmother has already had cancer twice. Now she is in the hospital for infected polyps, that are bleeding. Should I be really worried, or is this something not that simple.

my fiances brother is an alcoholic. he spends way too much money on beer and going out. if he doesnt drink he hides in his room all day and makes excuses not to go to work. he has been living with us for the last 3 months (he did spend some time away) and i am now at my wits end. he doesnt think he has a problem and it is causing drama with me and my fiance who is already under strain.

I'm not sure if I have it... Sometimes I feel that I have to move my leg and it wont go away even if I run around the house but this used to be more common. I'm just wondering what some of those that are positive they have it say about this. Also, what do you do to treat it?

Ok I'm 16 years old and I was having back problems during basketball season and I went and got a cat scan and they found out that I have spondylolysis....i was diagnosed in the middle of March and I 've been wearing a back brace since then...ocassionally i feel a slight ache here and there but i feel its gettin better...i get another catscan in about 4 weeks...i've already started ab tightening exercises in physical therapy....but yea..do you think my spine is nearly healed becuase i really want to get back to playin basketball and gettin trainin for football....its been so hard havin to watch everyone else play.

This person is a female 18 years old. Has pain in the head, hips, left shoulder. Feels like is shaking but isn't. Sometimes legs and hands shake. Left side of feels warm but isn't. Ears feel like stuff is coming out of them but isn't. Wakes up cold but it isn't cold in the house.

I have a purebred black labrador he's 10 monthes old and he is always rubbing his eyes and they look extremly red could he have alergies or some other eye problem he sees and plays normally but is constantly rubbing them I'm worried can anyone help?

She had a tumor removed last Thurs. and when the docs when in they noticed that the tumor was attached to some other organs and she ended up losing her kidney, spleen, and the tip of her pancreas. I m 26 and usually screw up alot and I just want to be able to help my mother during her recovery- she just came home yesterday and weighs like 100 lbs now! She is weak and fragile. And without her spleen she is more prone to infections and what not! Any advice is welcome. I LOVE MY MOM!

I have a loved one who has advanced esophageal cancer, the doctors say, all that's left to do now is to make her more comfortable. She is being given Morphine for the pain. Someone told me this makes the body shut down more quickly. Does anyone know if this is really true? I can't find that info in my online research of the drug! Please help if you are familiar with this situation, or if you have medical knowledge.

I know a person who has bone spurs on both heels of his feet and he now has another bone spur coming in on his left heel, besides the one that is already there. He gets frequent cortisone injections in the heels so he is able to walk and get around because the heels become so inflamed and full of inflammation. Is it possible that bone spurs can grow again after surgery to remove them? What's the point in having surgery to remove them if they can grow back and here you go again with the same problem? My friends doctor told me he only does surgery on bone spurs as a last resort before everything else fails. Thanks for the answers on this issue.

I am having a biospy of a soft tissue mass (on the back of knee) next week. How long does it take before they will know if it cancerous? It is a CT guided biopsy. If anyone could explain how the biopsy is done that would be great too! I would like to go in there a little prepared. Thanks!!

After waking up today I noticed that my liver hurts. The pain is in the right side of the abdomen ( right flank), right under the rib. It is a light pain and it feels on a bigger surface (like I got punched in the liver or something) ..it's not a sharp , knife like pain. It tends to feel when I walk or when I press that area.
Blood tests taken this month show the next results : AST 39 U/L (10-37) , ALT 130 U/L (10-41) , Alkaline phospathase 70 U/L (40-129), LDH 200 U/L (135-225), GLU 80 mg/dl (70-115), Ureea 32 mg/dl (10-50), TP 8,38 g/dl (6,6 - 8,7) , Albumins 62,5 % (52-68), Chol 209 mg/dl (120-200), blood clothing 239 mg/dl (180-350 ). I DON"T have any jaundice and my appetite is normal. I've been a bit tired the last 2-3 days but it's true nontheless that I got very little sleep. I also checked my temperature today and it was 36,7 degrees. My stools are daily and normal. On monday i'll go for a liver screening.
Am I sick ? Is it possible to have a liver problem ?
