I'm not sure if I have it... Sometimes I feel that I have to move my leg and it wont go away even if I run around the house but this used to be more common. I'm just wondering what some of those that are positive they have it say about this. Also, what do you do to treat it?
thanks so much! :P

Try nutrition supplements instead of expensive, legal and dangerous drugs the doctors will prescribe. Magnesium has been a long time known solution for things like this. It also has other benefits as do all nutritional supplements. It's cheap and available everywhere. It has no side effects. It is a nutrient you need to live.

If this doesn't work just browse the Internet looking for answers to your symptoms. If you have multiple symptoms sometimes answering to another will cure unexpectedly. Other good suggestions for this problem are calcium, chromium, vitamin E and fish oil. They are very good for you whole body and especially your circulatory system. They are all cheaper, more effective, and safer than anything you will get at the doctor's office. Note: Stay with the simple avoid the high priced stuff. I haven't tried many but all of them have failed to do what simple basic nutrition has done.

Yes, I have it, urge to move my legs or they move all by themselves when I am sleeping. If I get up and move around it will stop for a bit.

Unrelated to RLS, I started drinking more water (like 5-14oz glasses a day with 1/4 tsp Celtic sea salt). After a month I noticed a couple of things: I wasn't depressed, I was sleeping much better most nights and the RLS went away. What I realized was that I had been dehydrated for years and years.

I had considered asking my doctor for that new med but I didn't like the side effects.

Give the water cure a try.

Good luck!

I used to have many it years ago, before it was called RLS. It went away by itself, but I suffered for years. As you it's an uncontrollable urge to move your legs (I used to get it in my arms too sometimes). There is a medication out for it now. But back then my doctor would just give me a funny look. Look it up in Google (RLS) for the name of the prescription or ask your doctor. Good luck.

Yes: I have it, drives me crazy, I take Requip for it. It doesn't help much unless I take fifty ms or more. I also take Vicodine for osteo arthritis so, it works better. This keeps me awake at night, the Vicodine helps me to sleep so. Good luck.

I have it. My legs will either jerk, cramp, or the muscles just tighten up on their own while I am in bed. My doc put me on Quinine and it has helped a lot.
