Been to several doctors lately trying to find out why I hurt, lots of tests, no answers. I research it myself, everything points to fibromylagia. I ask people here on answers, everyone says fibromylagia. I go online, find many informative sites on the subject. I ask my doctors( a rheumatologist and two neurologists) and they all say fibromylagia is not a real disorder, they don't treat it, won't waste time looking for it. So I do some more research and find out the american medical community does not recognize fibromylagia as a disorder, but everyone else does , so I'm confused and here's my question. Is fibromylagia a disorder? If so, why is it not recognized as such by American doctors? If not, what are all these people suffering from?I know there are many people on this site familar with fibromylagia, what was your experience with the doctors? Did any tell you that it is not a disorder? Thank you for your input.
