I have been experiencing severe abdominal pain that radiates to the back and right side, belching, and reflux for serveral months. It occurs after meals and at night (mostly). The doc ran some tests and told me that I had IBS. But how is this possible if I don't have constipation or diarrhea?

Thanks

It started as a pimple on my right wrist that ruptured into this huge, open abcess. It is now open the size of a dime and is black in the very center. This past spring, I had a similar event, on my right leg. I ended up going to the hospital due to the pain and swelling. It was a staff infection, and after they ruptured it antibiotics took care of it. It is extremely painful and my arm is swollen in various locations. How can I make it rupture? It needs to bad.

Ok so the goverment already knows that cigarettes contain cancer causing chemicals, and nicotine, but what i dont get is why they just dont take it of the market or better yet take out the nicotine in the cigarettes, so that way whenever a first timer smokes it wont be addicting.

I was wondering if there is any scientific proof that after a life time of donating blood, the person would have health problems. Example - My father donated blood for almost thirty years, and now that he is almost 60, he has health problem after health problem. His parents, non blood donors, never had any health problems like my Dad. Any Ideas? Thanks.

I draged my dog from vet to vet for a bad skin rash until finally one suggested to take her to a specialist. They took all kinds of tests and finally told me she may have cushings.I declined. That was at least 4 years ago. She has been doing fine. Two days ago she went to the vet for choclate poisening and it was recommended again. My dog has been fine for the last four years. Is someone out there who had the same experiance ? My dog is a cocker/dachs mix and is 16 yrs old.

Today while I was driving to pick up my brother and sister from school in the middle of the intersection I lost control of the car couldn't lift my head up couldn't see in front of me. I reached my hands out to try to grab the steering wheel but I ended up turning in the middle of the intersection cars where honking at me but I couldn't even lift my head. 5 SECOUNDS latter I felt perfectly normal again. No pain no nothing. I called my doctor she said it was a lack of fluid in my body. I'm only 21. I had a cup of coffee to drink that day but that's about it. Did this ever happen to you? What do you think is happening to me?

There is something wrong with my stomach (for a week now).
I have been vomiting everything I've consumed.
My stomach feels constipation and cramps as well as a little pain.
Yet I have diarrhea (very watery).
when I walk I feel like throwing up at times (I have on two occasions outside).
Lastly, since I started feeling like this I have little energy. I tried ginger ale and pepto bismol.
20 years young, and no I have not been to taco bell or eaten out of any packed vegi bags (I hate both).

Been to several doctors lately trying to find out why I hurt, lots of tests, no answers. I research it myself, everything points to fibromylagia. I ask people here on answers, everyone says fibromylagia. I go online, find many informative sites on the subject. I ask my doctors( a rheumatologist and two neurologists) and they all say fibromylagia is not a real disorder, they don't treat it, won't waste time looking for it. So I do some more research and find out the american medical community does not recognize fibromylagia as a disorder, but everyone else does , so I'm confused and here's my question. Is fibromylagia a disorder? If so, why is it not recognized as such by American doctors? If not, what are all these people suffering from?I know there are many people on this site familar with fibromylagia, what was your experience with the doctors? Did any tell you that it is not a disorder? Thank you for your input.

Hi there. I've tried all reflux meds other than prilosec. Nothing has worked for me thus far (not prevacid, not nexium, etc.)...I have a huge sac of acid stuck in my throat constantly and bad heartburn...I was wondering if anyone has tried other meds but has had better luck with prilosec (OTC or perscription)? If so, what drugs did you try before prilosec that didn't work for you as well?
