The doctors all say to take an expectorant. Coughing it up is great but I want a fast cure. anyone have a miracle cure?

Over the counter Mucinex ...kind of pricy, but it used to be prescription, and it does work. Take it on time, drink lots of clear fluid, because you will need to be hydrated in order to cough up the mucus. Gross, but there it is. I wish you well.

We are going thru the same thing right now-everyone has it! I have been taking mucinex to break up the phlem, nyquil at night helps. My son has to use an inhaler for the next two weeks because his cough is so bad. Unfortunately, it's one of those things that has to run it's corse.

Don't I wish I had a fast cure for alot of things .....but I use guifenisen which is what the doctors used to have to give me a prescription for, now it's sold over the counter as, I think .....Musinex.....I think.
