You need to go to the dr. It may be a staph infection..BUT it also sounds like it could be a brown recluse spider bite. Either way you need to be seen and get it taken care of.

This seems to be the same thing, and to tell you the truth, a staph infection is nothing to play with. This is something that will not go away with a home remedy. The way you describe it seems like it may also be a spider bite. Either way, you really need to see a doctor as soon as you can. Just because you may make it rupture, may not get rid of the infection. Your body is fighting the infection now, but it's not doing a good job because it's spreading. This should tell you something. You're starting to get septic. If you let it continue, you'll start feeling tired, and you'll start running fever. It's past time you break down and go to a doctor, and get on some antibiotics. Don't play around with this....it could be potentially dangerous. Best of luck to you.

Go to the ER and let someone who knows what ther're doing handle. Not losing an arm is a small price to pay for a couple of hundred dollars.

Hospital NOW. I have been bitten by a brown recluse. I was lucky....I lived, despite that I ignored it until I blew up like a balloon and an all over rash. The doctor treated me with steroids and anti-biotics. She had lost a patient a year before who had been bitten in the same area I was(belly region)bitten. It eventually wasted away his organ tissues and he died. Much like spider venom affects their victims: by liquifying the insides.
If it is staff OR sepsis (sp) it can and does kill people every day. Your entire arm being swollen should be a HUGE hint!
GO NOW. You already know from your own experience that it can and probably will get worse.

You know, after going to the hospital for the same thing once before, I would think you would have a clue that you need to go to the doctor. For your information, people do die from staph infections.

You need to see the doctors again. Don't do it yourself. By the way, it's Staph not Staff (for Staphylococcus).
