They just don't understand. I feel so stupid. I've gone to several hearing specialists including the doctor the clinic recomends and even Miracle Ear. I've seen specialist several times because one of my hearing aids didn't fit and it made my ear sore. I'd like to stay home and forget about being social, but I know that would be a mistake. I have a few friends that understand. I have diital hearing aids and it shuts out some bakground noise. But I have trouble with soft sounds. They can't turn them up too much.

Given the circus around the Schiavo case last year, I'm curious how often the issue arises without fanfare where a relative makes the decision to remove life support from someone in a persistent vegatative state (PVS).

I've self-diagnosed myself with cystitis. Considering the fact that there is no cure, is there any point in going to the doctor? I get adequate relief from Uristat if necessary, so I don't need help with treating the symptoms.

I was able to make this diagnosis due to the fact that the last time it flared up, the doc found nothing in my sample except a little blood. She mentioned cystitis at that time.

Also the fact that I've been having these issues for several years. My previous doctor would say "I don't see any bacteria, but here are some pills anyway." That and the fact that when it mentioned symptoms being worse during your period - it just clicked.

I've tried oils, medication, white noise therapy, natural remedies and nothing works!! I've seen specialists, they all say to get used to it because there is nothing to do!!! If someone out there had it and got rid of it, could you please tell me what I can do to stop the ringing before I go crazy!!!!

For a while now, I've noticed that I'm more tired that usual. I sleep enough as it is, but during the day I feel like I'm about to just fall asleep and I've even done so at work. Bad, I know. Its like I have no energy at all anymore. Also, my hair has always been thin, but lately it feels a lot thinner and breaking easier. I've been gaining weight, not like I'm obese or anything, but to where none of my regular bras fit anymore and to top it all off, I haven't gotten my period in a while. I know I should prolly go to a doctor, but I guess I'm just kinda scared of what I might hear. Is there something wrong with me???

I stopped bc about 9 days ago so i could have a period since depo made me go without one for almost a year..from one shot. I bled good for about 3 days then stopped. Had surgery in oct. on gallbladder and its healed. my stomach is tender to the touch and I feel bloated like every other day to where i can't even suck in my stomach. I've always had fatigue so thats not any new symptom. my nausea was supposedly from gallbladder but it hasn't gone away. i never had tender boobs from pregnancy. Besides the obvious take a test and see a doctor, what do you think my problem could be? pregnancy or some health issue?

Okay so, apparently my mom just cooked some pork bits (Like hamburger but Pork) And I asked if it was done so I could have some and she said "Yeah." So I eat like, ten pieces (They're small.) Then she comes up and looks at some and sees that SOME pieces arent cooked! I mean, still red!!!! And now she's getting mad at me saying I didnt check what I was eating! Anyway, what is the probability that I have about 900 parasites travelling through my stomach right now?:P How long would it take me to know if I did? Also, is it treatable, or am I going to die a horrible death?:) *Trichinosis*

I got my nose pierced five days ago by a professional. Unfortunate even though I know I shouldn’t I have to take it out everyday for work. Though I have been keeping it extremely clean, I wash my hands and use hand sanitizer before touching it and I carry piercing solution, which I use every time I take it out. When I do remove the piercing the hole looks pink and healthy even if it is tender. But the out side of my nose is vary red and inflamed though I don’t think its infected yet I’m worried that it may be on its way to getting infected. Is there anything I can do to help or prevent this?
