There can be a problem when difficulties in passing urine( urine retention) leads to an overfull bladder and there is a back pressure on the kidneys which can cause problems. If there is a bladder infection then it may pass back to the kidney,

There are 2 things which i believe you could be referring to. One is pressure from tight clothing and or a belt, this can lead to problems with the bladder e.g. restriction. And the other is what i have, kidney stones they can block the ureta and cause alot of pain and discomfort to say the least, in the worst situation it can lead to having a kidney removed, hope this helps.

I have bladder pressure problem .and have had botox injections but they did not work .but if you don't empty your bladder fully you will get infections .which will lead to kidney failure.

if you mean holding in your pee to long yes that causes problems with the kidneys
