as an EMT there are questions that I would ask if called to your house regarding this. my first question would be about any past pertinent history (what did she eat before bed, did she do any drugs/Alcohol before going to bed, has she walked in her sleep before, what kinds of medications is she on, does she have any medical conditions, stuff like that). From all those answers you can start to put the puzzle together. My sixth sense says that she was walking in her sleep, but that's my opinion. If this happens again don't try yelling at her, just help her back to bed. You could also have a sleep study done (which is very $$$) but maybe this could give you the answer that your looking for. Good luck.

What the condition is is derious. I am not trying to be funny. Your description is not specific enough to come up with a diagnosis. (also a medical history of the lady would be invaluable). Some of the symptoms are neurological. Therefor she should see an internist or neurologist as soon as possible. It may be very serious, and should be examined as soon as possiblew.
Please call a taxicab and get her to the emergency room at the nearest decent hospital.
Good luck,
Doc. Dan.

Sounds like she may have been having a seizure. She needs to go see a doctor or neurologist as soon as possible, especially if there is a family history of epilepsy or other neurological disorders.

Is it possible that she had a nightmare? Personally, I would get her to a doctor immediately. Good luck.

Yes, she needs to stop drinking a drugging...then when she wakes up, she won't have those problems.
