Early symptoms of shingles include headache, sensitivity to light, and flu-like symptoms without a fever. You may then feel itching, tingling, or extreme pain in the area where a rash is developing. Several days later, a belt-shaped or bandlike rash appears. This band of pain and rash is the clearest sign of shingles

i had shingles when i was 18......... under my right armpit! ok the first signs were very painful, i had a sore arm and could barely move it, i figured i had just slept on it funny, next day i went to spray and ouch, i lifted my arm up and there were loads of tiny blisters covering my pit, i could barely lift my arm for days. on a whole it was painful for about 4 or 5 days but you can actually carry shingles for about 2-3 weeks altogether. if you think you have it dont go near children or people who havent had it, its contageous, im sorry i cant remember when its contageous, either before or after the rash, sorry thats not much help. hope it does a bit

nicely I had shingles once and that became adequate for me, fortuitously i became operating as a medical doctors receptionist on the time and that i informed my boss that I felt unwell and had a rash. All I keep in mind became that I felt so drained for a at the same time as and then I had a rash or a extra powerful description is a few small pink spots on my abdomen and slowly they spread round my waist and at the same time as they met I had the most unusual discomfort it wasn't as undesirable as labour pains in spite of the indisputable fact that it stopped me in my tracks and that i felt real demanding. I also lost my urge for food and it took a lengthy time period to get over.

A sharp pain at one point of the body.Visible sign of it later(a small spot with a line to it).Tiredness and flu like symptoms reason for this very low immune system so a virus(chickenpox) that was dormant in the body resurfaces.
