Look up fibromyalgia and see if you have the symptoms. I take Cymbalta and that helps with the pain.

Did you ever break your legs when you were younger? OR have any kind of childhood disorder associated with your legs or muscles, bones, etc.?
It could be some kind of reaction to the cold weather for some reason.

Sometimes our immune system (especially if you're a woman) kicks into overdrive and certain things set it off, like cold weather.
Ask your doctor next time to check for lupus. Or perhaps early onset arthritis. I have a sneaking suspicion it has to do with the cold weather and your immune system though.

In the meantime, keep your legs warm, try not to expose them to cold weather at all if you can.
Take plenty of vit. C and omega 3 fatty acids, demand your doctor prescribe you some pain medication just to get you through the days and also try to force yourself to get in a bit of exercise, try to work your muscles up in your leg and see what happens. Tell your doctor about the effects of exercising your legs and this might help him determine what is going on.

My names Annamarie I am only 21 but I have a Grandma who has severe cramping in her legs especially in the evening. I cant give you the answer to what it is but I can share a little advice. One of the things you can do is take a warm shower before you go to bed which will relax you a little make sure its really warm because it kinda loosens everything up. You can also use a heating pad or go to your local store and buy a massager a lilttle vibrating one used for like your feet or back and place massage your legs rub a little lotion on the area. When you get the pain rub your legs as soon as you start feeling the pain come on. I hope this little bit of info. helps you I deal with this on and every night baises. God bless you!

i do no longer think of that's her footwear as too many toddlers go through the right comparable syptoms and soreness. I honestly have heard of starting to be pains and my poor eleven 12 months previous victims badly from it each 6 months or so. and has because of the fact he replaced into approximately 2.5 years previous. He could cry in the time of the day however the night time replaced into the worst. It breaks a mum's coronary heart to work out her toddler in soreness and suffering. We tried each thing to ease his soreness. Panadol. Asprin. rub down. warmth. relax. no longer something worked..... until 3 weeks in the past i got here upon the main staggering, organic drug noted as Crampeze. It includes Magnesium and diet B6. that's on the Chemist and a few supermarkets stoke it. It it for any age and is physically powerful for adults as nicely with relief for under pressure Leg Syndrome. they are super drugs yet may well be broken all the way down to help her swallow them.

potassium deficiency?

You really don't give too much info.

I'd say you'd have to say
exactly where it hurts (calf muscle, one or both legs, if one which leg),
when it hurts (specific time of day or when you do something), what your typical day is like activity-wise,
and what do you eat/drink,
and any conditions you have (high blood pressure, etc).
