I have many symptoms of leukemia, but they can be symptoms of other things, or just random happenings and i'm completly over reacting. I have had blood taken within the past 2 months and was wondering if it would be detected with a regular blood test because Leukemia is cancer in your blood, or is it something that the doctor has to be looking for to catch it?

How do you get Medical personell to take time with you. I have two very critical diseases. Four years ago I fell backwards on cement. I had a hole in the back of head. My husband took me to emergency because I woke up the next morning with bllod all over my pillow. I have discolored lower egs which is hereditary. The first thing I hear is Neuropathy. Then your loaded up with neurontin. Nothing changes.
I have been in a wheel chair for over 3 years. HOW do you get specialty doctors and primary doctors to apend some time with you. Their in and out like Jack Rabbits

My mother was diagnosed at 57 as well and died when whe was 66 after aspiration pneumonia. I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers older than me and a physician told me I could be tested for it in a hospital in Massachusetts. If you can only imagine, our entire family wonders if there is some genetic brain disorder going on here. 57 yrs old is very young to get Alzheimers twice in 1 family. I have been thinking about testing so I dont invest a bunch of money in a 403B then not be able to get it before I die.

My stomach does not digest food properly. It takes longer to digest and something's are rejected. I'm in a constant state of Nausea. For which I asked my doctor for a prescription of Marinol/Dronabinol i.e. THC in pill form. The anti-nausea med they gave me, Phenagrin, gives me nausea. The FDA moved Marinol from a schedule II drug to a schedule III drug, which means that the Dr. can phone it in to your pharmacy with 5 refills, enough for 6 months. This was done on July 2, 1999. They did this instead of legalizing it. Legalize marijuana for every kind of use, ever wonder why crime is down in countries where it is legal. Europe is so much older than the U.S. When will the U.S. wake up and legalize it thus criminal activity will drop way low. Europe knows the human condition better than the U.S. That's why it is legal in Amsterdam, and decriminalized in other European countries, we don't count the Mid-East there HEAD is up there *** anyway. Please HELP. Good health & God Bless All.

He also had a stiff neck earlier in the week, which concerned me greatly, but he thought it might be from being on his computer so much. He is attending school for his doctorate and is working 3 jobs so he is not getting enough sleep nor eating right. He does not have a fever. I told him if he doesn't get to a doctor tomorrow I'm driving up there. He said "Mom, I'm 26 years old" but guys can be stubborn about going to the doctor although I know he's a little worried because he was considering going to the ER. I think he might have some health care coverage with his college. Would also like suggestions as to where he might want to go with limited coverage. I think he'll need to check and see what coverage he has.

It's starting to scare me, because I feel like I lost consciscous for a second when I was driving, and then snapped back to myself, a little disoriented. Could it be narcolepsy? I'm a little freaked out.
