It's starting to scare me, because I feel like I lost consciscous for a second when I was driving, and then snapped back to myself, a little disoriented. Could it be narcolepsy? I'm a little freaked out.

if it was only for a split second then it may b bcoz of heat, immobility, dehydration or postural hypotension which may occur if u sit for too long with ur feet dangling n causes the blood to pool in the lower part of the body n also bcoz of low blood pressure...

it could also be TIAs (Transient Ischemic Attacks), which are a precursor of strokes.
I would go get checked out.

Symptoms vary with the area of the brain affected and may include changes in vision, speech or comprehension, vertigo, decreased movement or sensation in a part of the body, or changes in the level of consciousness.

If you have health care insurance, consult your doctor. If not, go to the nearest emergency room before it's too late! Blackouts are not normal human behavior.

well..my mother has this little problem every now and then umm..if your have a heavy period it could cause a inbalance in your matabolism that could cause a sudden blackout. start taking vitamin c and getting a good amount of iron that might help.

you shud have drinks rich in salt content....it shud be manly due to the reason that your pressure might be going low at times..

i would see a doctor to make sure that there is nothing really bad, especially if it affects you while driving.
