I remember seeing the film "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," and the character Ian said he had a zit that morning and it went away after putting Windex on it.

I'm not asking for advice on how to get rid of zits; I was just wondering if Windex really worked for getting rid of a zit.

I am starting to have sharp pains on the right side, ( do not have gallbladder any longer ) especially when I cough, or they come on real fast and lasts until I get some medication in me for the pain. I am 26 yrs. old. 8 Mo. ago I had a baby by c-section 3 1/2 mo. early due to HELLP syndrome. Then, 3 weeks later ended up with a Pulmanary embolism (blood clot in the lung). I am on blood thinners, don't drink, sometimes smoke. I have numbness in my side around the base of my rib cage, on rare occasions, there is a little pain involved before the numbness. The feeling is inside, not the outside skin. My doctor doesn't think it is anything, but I can't help wondering. Ths has been going on for almost 5 months now.
Does anyone have any advice? Know anyone who has felt like this before???

I think the antibiotics get the inflammation out for a while. My son had strep throat so my Doc put me on antibiotics, too since I am now 14 weeks pregnant. I have been a little worse since I have been pregnant but it is the same symptoms. If my right knee hurts, the left one will. If my right hand hurts the left one will. (Toes, knees, hips, hands shoulders all do the same) It jumps around so much I never know what is going to be hurting worst next. I added some stuff to my last question, but didn't know if anyone would go back and look. Some days I do pretty good, then I have a few where I don't know if I will make it or not. I know I have 2 disk in my neck that are bulging, I've ruptured L5 and L4 has a "T" score of -2.22 and my highest "T"" score was -1.83 I think. I am only 125 so that puts me at osteoporosis. ( I know I'm in sad shape, LOL) I am going to see another doctor. I've just been afraid so far.

My Neurologist told me three years ago I have osteoarthritis. Well, I hurt a lot more now than I use to. I blew L5 and my spine is very weak. I also found out I have osteoporosis. I am only 27 yrs old. I'm worried I may have R.A. When my knee hurts both hurts. My hands and feet do the same thing. Most of the time my hands or my feet will hurt most of the day. I'm not just stiff right when I get up. Sometimes it takes up to 2 hours for me to be able to move good. Sometimes I go all day without being able to bend over. Does anyone have R.A. or O. A.?

The reason why i ask this is that I have had at least two stools that I have noticed that part of them had red streaks on them ( not too many, just sporadically on a normally colored stool) , which caused me to get alarmed since it kind of made me think it was blood and they say that blood in stool can be a sign of colon cancer. Of course i did eat tomatoes when the two cases of the red in the stools occured as well as a red apple with the skin, but I am still worried, even though when I wipe there is no blood on the toilet paper, nor is the water all bloodied, but I am still unsure, and I am thinking of seeing a doctor soon.....Also the stools appear in many peices not just one whole one..My diet is also pretty healthy as I eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and low in red meat, and I am excercising and in pretty good shape....I am 18 by the way and no history of medical problems to date

I had my thyroid removed and its been a year and I still feel like crap.I'm always tired,my body has aches and pain that I never had before.I was on Levothyroxine but I've had to have it adjusted 6 times and still have no energy,no zest for life.I just switched to Armour thyroid meds.I've only been on it 2 days so I don't know if it will work.Looking for someone who has had the same surgery and how are you doing?I don't know anyone who has had the surgery and so nobody can understand what I'm going through.I have supportive family but I'm only 42 and I'm going thru the motions of life but not living it.

And acquaintence of mine claims that someone he knew died of complications related to Acid Reflux disease? It seems absurd to me. How is this possible? Even if it is, wouldn't the symptoms before actual death be so severe that the person would seek out an emergency room, before the disease became lethal???
