Oh I dunno - earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, axe murderers, people who leave the gas on, that kind of thing, I guess. Or were you thinking more in the way of turning over awkwardly and breaking your neck?

rocks, sharp objects, too many people in your bed, things like that? the best idea is to go to bed at the same time every night, weekends too, dont play games and such in your bedroom but keep it strictly for sleeping, do a little gentle yoga before bed, then take a warm bath, make sure your room is not too hot, make sure your bed is clean and smooth, make sure the window shades and all are adjusted the way you want, if you need ear plugs get some, play some very soft music as you go to sleep, classical or meditation music and make it one cd you only play at bed time, so you associate it with sleep, if you need a little snack or warm cocoa before sleep take that, an asprin if you need it, I sometimes get really itchy in the night so i always put on body lotion before i go to bed so that im sure im coated as well as i can be before i try to sleep, wash your sheets often, nothing is worse than wrinkly or rough sheets. get up at the same time every morning , weekends too and even if you didnt sleep well, that way you will be plenty sleepy when you do go to bed.
